The Clean Cities Project is the brainchild of a group of young, passionate, and enthusiastic individuals. Established in 2022, our journey began with a shared vision to ignite change in community environments. At the Clean Cities Project, our mission has always been clear — to tackle environmental challenges head-on and foster sustainable solutions.
Why We Exist
In a world grappling with climate hazards and improper waste management, we saw an opportunity to make a difference. Malawi, with its unique set of challenges, became our starting point. Our commitment to raising awareness, transforming waste into valuable resources, and engaging stakeholders drives us every day.
Our Mission
Driving sustainability in climate action and waste management in Malawi and the global south. Through Innovation, collaboration, education, and advocacy, we seek to inspire, empower, and equip youths, schools, communities, artists, and government agencies to foster environmental stewardship and Climate resilient communities.

To become a center of sustainability in Climate Action and Waste Management in Malawi and the global south while accelerating action towards the creation of Clean, Green, Health and Climate Resilient Communities.
