We are beyond excitement to announce that our Waste to Art Enterprise has been recognized as the Best Circular Economy Business in Malawi, winning the prestigious TotalEnergies Startupper of the Year competition!
This award is a testament to our mission at the Clean Cities Project: to create sustainable solutions while empowering communities. Through the Waste to Art Enterprise, we transform discarded plastic and paper waste into stunning and functional art pieces—jewelry, tables, chairs, decorative items, vases, and so much more. Our journey is about more than just recycling; it’s about empowering students and youth through our Eco-Green Clubs, equipping them with essential recycling and upcycling skills to create sustainable livelihoods while tackling environmental challenges.

The grant we’ve received will allow us to further refine our art products, making them even more eco-friendly and impactful. We extend our heartfelt thanks to TotalEnergies for this incredible opportunity and their commitment to fostering innovation and sustainability. This win wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering dedication of my amazing team at the Clean Cities Project. Your hard work and passion are the driving force behind this success.

As we celebrate this great milestone, we’re reminded that this is just the beginning. Together, we will continue pushing boundaries, creating impact, and reaching even greater heights.
