Showcasing Our Waste to Art Enterprise at the YALI RLC SA – Malawi Chapter Exhibition

We had the incredible opportunity to showcase our innovative art and furniture, crafted from recycled plastic and paper waste, during the YALI RLC SA – Malawi Chapter Exhibition. This event was a powerful platform to demonstrate how creativity and sustainability can go hand in hand. We were honored to engage with key stakeholders, including the Acting Mission

Director for USAID Malawi, the Public Policy Officer for the US Embassy to Malawi, as well as youths, government officials, city council representatives, and customers. These interactions provided invaluable insights and reinforced the importance of our work.

Our mission remains steadfast: to transform waste that pollutes our environment into valuable, sellable art and furniture. This not only generates revenue but also addresses the pressing challenge of environmental pollution, offering a sustainable
solution that benefits both communities and the planet.

At the Clean Cities Project, we believe in turning waste into opportunity, creating beauty and functionality from what others discard. Events like these fuel our passion and encourage us to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the
circular economy.
Together, we can create a cleaner, greener future for Malawi and beyond!
